Happy Monday friends! It’s the first Monday of October and I can’t tell you how excited that makes me. October always marks the turn of the season….there is a slight chill in the air, pumpkins everywhere and the days get dark just a little earlier. I’m so excited to snuggle up in scarves and boots and feel the crisp chill of fall on my cheeks. There are so many exciting things that will be happening in the coming months both professionally and personally – more to be revealed in a future Monday cutie. For now, I’ll leave you with a fun double feature on Style Me Pretty! Kari+Matt AND Nikki+Daniel’s weddings were both featured on Style Me Pretty recently. Here are some shots from both weddings! Hello all and happy Monday! Josh and I are on vacation for the week and there are many fun things to share in the coming weeks so for now here’s two BIG ones! First off the supremely talented guys over at the 805 Collective have been working so hard and for so long to get the new and vastly improved April Flowers website up and running. It has been a long creative process and finally after so much anticipation the new website is up! I’m so excited to share the new site with you and even more thankful to Jeremy Limpic for putting up with all my changes, late night e-mails, edits and help he has given me along the way. I think between us we’ve exchanged just about 400 e-mails during this process…yeah seriously. So…..I hope you like it! Check it out HERE!

Kelly and Nick were married May 1. The very awesome Jonathan @ Bluephoto has already, yes already, given me some of the fabulous images of the wedding. Kelly fits in that awesome group of clients that were so easy to work with! She was prepared and knew what she wanted which made my job so very easy. Congrats Kelly and Nick – happiness to you always.
I give you Dana+Collie. There were married on March 13 and these beautiful shots were taken by Ken Kienow who is always so gracious to share. It was clear when I met these two that their wedding was going to be meaningful and beautiful in every sense of the word. I think it’s pretty obvious from these photos that they are in love and will be for many many years to come. Congratulations Dana and Collie…many blessings to you – always.

Karla and Patrick were married 10.10.09 at the SLO Mission. Karla is one of those people who had an always flickering sparkle in her eyes! She has been shopping at my shop for years now and came to me when she first was engaged with her ideas. Over time those ideas evolved and turned into her vision you see here. Thank you Karla for trusting us to make the vision come to reality and…..special thanks to Jen Rodriguez (formerly Jen Slot) for sharing these images with us. Although Jen and I have not personally met – just from my phone/e-mail communications with her I can tell she has that same sparkle in her eye!
Lia and Brian were married yesterday @ The Mission! Here’s a sneak peak of the flowers we created for them. More pics to come soon!
