Hello hello and happy fall! We’ve been so busy with our wedding season that blogging every week has become quite the challenge. Good news is that we’re about to wrap up our regular wedding season and will be coming at you with all sorts of gorgeous posts from this year’s weddings. While I love working with my fabulous clients, being creative every week and keeping busy, I must admit I’m terribly excited for a break! I’m looking forward to regrouping and working on some creative planning for April Flowers!
For now, I’m so happy to share Brynn+Daniel’s fete with you. Brynn is just about the sweetest person I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. She is also the genius behind the blog chartreuse and a twist and I knew working with her was going to be a blast with some gorgeous results! Our brainstorming convos were filled with laughter, creative ideas and talk of lots of bright pretty florals. Their wedding was chalk full of punchy colors, personal details and lots of LOVE. While I’m usually done and gone from the venue before the ceremony takes place, this time, I was needed to stay and help transform the ceremony area into the dinner space. This means I was able to stay and witness Brynn+Daniel tie the knot and I’m SO glad I was there! Moments before Brynn descended the stairs to meet her groom our eyes caught and we shared a smile…she was all alone at the top of the stairs and it was such a special moment for me…sharing in the excitement that she was feeling and giving her a comforting nod. I will never forget that moment…thanks for sharing it with me Brynn!
This fete was perfect from top to bottom with an A-team of vendors to pull it all together. Zenaida Cellars is quaint but filled with charm and the staff there are awesome! Thomas Hill Organics provided the noshes – they are ridiculous – enough said! Jenny over at Cake Cathedral delivered some seriously yummy sweets and many, many thanks to Allyson Magda Photography for sharing these gorgeous images with us. Allyson is kinda a big deal…she shot Mark Zukerberg’s wedding….yes, true story.
